Workshop Details

Workshop Title: Train the Trainer 

Duration 1 to 2 days 

Course Leaders: 1 facilitator 

Number of Participants: max 12-15

Workshop Overview

Participants will explore the fundamentals of effective training delivery, with a focus on DSTC’s unique methodologies.

This includes learning how to create engaging and interactive sessions, manage diverse learner needs, and assess training effectiveness. The workshop will integrate the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) questionnaires and be delivered by certified MBTI practitioners.

This approach will help participants understand their training style and how to adapt it to different learners. Through practical exercises, role-plays with professional business actors, and interactive discussions, participants will develop the confidence and skills to deliver impactful training sessions.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Master DSTC’s training methodology: Gain a deep understanding of the techniques and principles that make DSTC training effective.
  • Create interactive and engaging sessions: Learn to design training sessions that capture attention and facilitate active learning.
  • Enhance facilitation skills: Develop skills for managing group dynamics, encouraging participation, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and improve learning outcomes: Understand how to measure the effectiveness of training sessions and make continuous improvements.
  • Adapt training for diverse learners: Learn strategies to accommodate different learning styles and needs within a training group.
  • Handle challenging training scenarios: Build confidence in managing difficult participants and resolving conflicts during training sessions.
  • Use storytelling and dramatic techniques: Incorporate storytelling and role-playing to enhance learning and retention.

Post workshop

Access to training resource members area for self-directed learning with follow-up coaching emails for 6 weeks after the workshop.

This will include on-the-job exercises and suggested self-directed learning to ensure maximum retention of learning.
